Indian designer Paul Sandip has created Mr Chair, in homage to his favourite designer, Philippe Stark, and particularly his cult chair, Mr Impossible.
“I wanted to pay homage to his childlike curiosity, so I created a fun version of Mr Impossible. I chose to show the three attributes that characterise him most: the imagination of a painter, the curiosity of a scientist and the enigma of a magician.”
Mr Chair is a fantastically coloured four-legged chair filled with small polystyrene balls which move around electrostatically when shaken by children; or adults, who refuse to grow up.
Paul Sandip offers us three models in different colours:
Mr Scientist, Mr Painter and Mr Magician
