Moon, a hypnotic dish

Moon is a large and transparent dish/salad bowl, made from PMMA, which offers a spectacular visual effect: the sculpted plastic on the inside seems to be covered in bumps and craters, like the surface of the moon, while the outside is perfectly smooth. The plastic plays with transparency and light and seems to be animated with movement. Designed by designer Mario Bellini for Kartell, Moon is available in several warm and flashy colours.
