Shibuya: oriental and elegance

French designer Christophe Pillet created the elegant Shibuya vase as a celebration of Japanese culture and named it after one of Tokyo's 23 wards, known as the centre of Tokyo fashion. This transparent and colourful Plexiglas (PMMA) vase was inspired by the characteristic Japanese lines found in Ikebana, the traditional art of floral arrangement. Shibuya comes with a removable perforated lid, enabling it to be used for flower arrangements, as a single flower vase, table centrepiece or even, as a salad bowl. The vase's coloured bands offer contrasting tones and various degrees of transparency which channel light in playful ways. Shibuya is more than just a simple vase; it is a chic, glamorous and contemporary decorative object.
