Eclipse, an exceptional lamp

Created in 1982, by Brazilian designer Maurice Klabin, the Eclipse lamp is made from a single strip of polypropylene wrapped around itself: the highly modular shell-shaped lampshade can be folded, and unfolded, to make the lighting suit any mood, and its black metal feet can be detached in a jiffy. This original shaped-lamp was designed from a simple concept aimed at bringing design and accessibility to a range of exceptional objects: a unique opportunity to have a beautiful high-quality object at an unbeatable price! Marketed by Objekto, the lamp has been part of the prestigious permanent collection of the MoMA in New York since 2006.
