Bigging-up little Albert

A small chap with a big reputation, Little Albert boasts a stunningly bright and velvety gloss finish that is bang-on trendy. A so-hip-it-hurts look for this high-style, organically-curved sculptural chair. The 2002 Salon du Meuble was where Israeli designer Ron Arad chose to unveil his eponymously-named Victoria and Albert upholstered chair collection in tribute to the great London museum. Building on the success of that collection, Moroso decided to experiment with new materials and manufacturing processes while preserving the basic forms. The result was the Little Albert armchair, made of rotationally moulded coloured polyethylene. The compact wraparound seat features an organic, innovative look and its wide seat is designed for comfort-plus. Practical and lightweight, the opening in the back allows it to be easily carried.
