Clock of ages

Alessi has reissued the famous Walter Wayle II wall clock, an icon of 90s design. First issued in 1989, the Walter Wayle II was one of the first collaborations between Philippe Starck and the famous Italian brand. It is a timeless object which transcends conventions, keeping only the essentials - which explains why the Walter Wayle II is part of MOMA's permanent collection. This elegant and minimalist ABS wall clock consists of two helical hands whose imaginative shapes are a delight to behold. They could represent two legs, a stylized bird or a mediaeval helmet...poetry in motion!
