K7 lamp

Converting 16 old audio cassettes into an unique and original lamp! The idea comes from product innovation designer Marc Bony who applies his knowledge of bleeding-edge technology to a practical approach to the objects or business products that he designs; his approach is aimed at creating objects which are pleasing to the eye, accessible and useful for all. The K7 lamp offers a new lease of life to old audio cassettes which have not been destroyed. The lamp is designed around a frame allowing cassettes to be piled upon one another, much like you would with Lego®. This lamp can be assembled in under two minutes and comes with an LED bulb; the lamp is intended to provide approximately 70,000 hours of light - more than enough time to try out all possible permutations of transparent and opaque cassettes.
