Musical table

Acoustable, by two Belgian designers, Jérôme Spriet and Wolfgang Bregentzer, is an elegant coffee table of moulded plastic hiding an audio system underneath its top, complete with USB ports through which you can connect your telephone, iPod or computer. Made from a polymer and mineral blend, this coffee table brings together the advantages of stone and plastic to produce a compact and mobile object with good acoustics. The two designers have thought of everything: even the remote which controls the whole system can be stored in a pocket incorporated in the table!
