The exotic Yoda chair
Halfway between exoticism and modernity, Filipino designer Kenneth Cobonpue's Yoda chair sets itself apart from the rest, thanks to its refinement and warm minimalism.
The "indoor" version of Yoda is made up of a large number of rattan rods placed one next to the other. A metallic structure defines the chair's shape, and the ends of the rods form a flexible backrest adding height and aesthetic flair to this creation.
The "outdoor" model replaces the rattan rods with PVC rods, which makes the backrest more resistant, yet stays just as flexible and rigid.
