The precious Tatou lamp

The Tatou table lamp, named after the eponymous animal (Tatou: French for Giant armadillo) with overlapping honeycomb-shaped plates, is a creation of famous Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola for the no-less-famous Flos brand. Its originality resides in its cut-out polycarbonate and PMMA lampshade, playing with transparency and opacity, diffusing a direct light oriented both up and down, and projecting delicate shadows on the floor and ceiling. Precious and sophisticated, the Tatou lamp is available in white, black and ochre grey, for a chic a refined interior.
