The timeless Rainbow Chair

Presented for the first time at the Paris Furniture Fair in 1999, the Rainbow chair by French designer Patrick Norguet is unique. The result of many years of research into materials and innovative production techniques, it is made entirely of PMMA and consists of sheets of different colours and thicknesses bonded together by ultrasound. Surprising with its simple lines, vibrant colours and glossy finish, it remains an exceptional piece and sits with panache at MOMA.
