The visionary AI chair

It is a well know fact that Philippe Starck is a pioneer! Tired of designing chairs that all ended up looking alike, he set himself a new challenge: designing a simple and functional chair using the least amount of materials and energy. To do this, he approached Autodesk, an American 3D design software publisher. Two years of working on the problem resulted in the birth of the AI chair, the first chair entirely designed by artificial intelligence. Streamlined, lightweight but strong, the AI chair is stackable and is made entirely from plastic recycled from the industrial waste produced by Kartell, the company selling the chair.
