Vintage collection: "I love you" chair

Vintage is fashion-forward: clothing, jewellery, bags and even decoration are all rocking the look. And Ikea is on-trend with it, for the Swedish brand has enlisted 19 designers to create its 7th IKEA PS collection channelling a 60s/70s theme. The aim: to come up with innovative products (forms, functions, materials, sustainability, etc.) inspired by 60 years of history. The "I love you" chair is part of that new collection. Markus Arvonen’s brainchild is made of a wood-plastic composite, a new material that combines polypropylene with wood fibre reclaimed from sawmills. A technology that saves raw materials.
