Zamac - hammock or swing?
Starting with the idea that a relaxing piece of furniture can be both playful and design, Ronan Masson, the founder of the ZedSet design agency, has come up with an innovative concept: the Zamac. Unveiled at “Maison et Objet” fair in January 2012, it can be used either indoors: fixed from the ceiling, or from a tree outdoors, as soon as the weather improves. Zamac’s structure is an alloy of several materials, in particular magnesium, zinc, aluminium and copper. The canvas is made of Batyline®, the first fabric to be made of PVC tarpaulin thanks to a Texyloop® recycling process developed by Ferrari in cooperation with Solvay. Zamac has everything to delight: it is available in several plain and gleaming colours, it is light, solid, long-lasting, easy to clean and 100% recyclable.
